Accounts Administrator (Omagh) – Applications Closed

Overview of RoleThe successful candidate will be based full (flexi) time in Omagh and will assume responsibility for the support of various office accounts, administrative and limited secretarial requirements for a small group of construction companies operating design & build construction & development sites in England.

Responsible forAccounts & administration (“Admin”)
Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesAdmin:
– Scanning, downloading, filing and document control of various paperwork including supplier purchase invoices, receipts, delivery notes & timesheets and various health & safety documents in both hard copy and electronic formats.
– Taking infrequent and sporadic calls to office line and taking messages.

– Operation of Sage 50 Accounts.
– Posting of purchase ledger transactions to supplier & subcontractor accounts.
– Posting of credit card payments to credit card accounts.
– Purchase Ledger maintenance and processing on accounts system.
– Reconciliation of supplier accounts.
Additional & Shared Roles and ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative & clerical support for the Director.
Essential Skills & Qualifications– Familiar with Sage 50 Accounts.
– Strong knowledge of MS Office Programs: Excel & Outlook including operation and maintenance of public and shared mailboxes.
– Excellent keyboard skills
– Good listening and observational skills
– Excellent communication skills
– Excellent literacy & email etiquette skills
– Be organised and be able to support organisation of others.
– DBS & Right to Work in Northern Ireland checks required.
Desirable (not essential) Skills, Qualifications and Characteristics– Driving Licence with own independent mode of transport
– Knowledge of administrative processes concerned with construction operations.
Other Additional Information– All staff must undergo initial Drugs and Alcohol (D&A) Screening in accordance with the Drugs and Alcohol Polices of McCrory Limited.
– Maximum 40 hours per week, minimum 30 to be agreed.
– Flexible (with agreement) or structured working hours available
– An interest in being put forward for either formal bookkeeping or an accounting technician course part time as part of formal continual professional development or already having an accounting qualification will be advantageous.
Salary & Package– Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 (Depending on experience and based on 40 hours, negotiable and to be agreed)
– Holidays: 20 excluding Bank Holidays, increasing by 1 day for every year of service, capped at 25 days. Flexible working hours available.
– Statutory Pension
– Guaranteed annual salary increase of minimum 2%, maximum 7%
– Christmas bonus scheme, minimum 1% of salary, maximum 4%
